Steve Bryden
Guitar and vocals
Steve began his career as a musician at the tender age of five with a guitar. Steve had broken his leg and his parents bought him a little guitar, as consolation and therapy so to speak: Instead of sitting around waiting idly for his leg to heal again, he now had a meaningful occupation. At the age of 15 he played guitar and trumpet in various bands from rock to pop. But the guitar remained his favourite instrument. But how did he get to ABBA?
“In 2003 I became part of the ABBAMANIA team. For the next ten years we toured the whole world with the show. During the show I met Frank and we became really good friends. With ABBAMANIA we played in fantastic locations like the Waldbühne in Berlin, the Lanxess Arena, at that time still called Kölnarena, and the Olympia Hall in Paris. I toured very successfully With Katy in recent years with appearances in different ABBA shows in France, the United Kingdom and Beirut”.
ABBA also became a passion for Steve Bryden. His experiences, which he gained at countless concerts all over the world, have shown him how much he can inspire his audience with this music.
“I love playing ABBA’s music because these songs appeal to every generation, young or old. Every time we perform on stage, we see how much happiness and joy this music brings to people! I’m just very happy that I can contribute to this.”
